This piece depicts my relationship with God when I was a child. I was taught at a very young to be afraid of Him. Used as a tool to control children. I was told He would punish me for doing or thinking anything wrong. I'm really not sure what thoughts a child could have that I could be punished for. I was so afraid. For months, the only way I would fall asleep was to repeatedly chant the words in the start of this video. But my brain would always eventually say the opposite. And I would be so afraid that He heard, and He would punish me. Crying myself to sleep for months and months on end.
